Issues discussed
- Ph.D. students can only take 2 classes without prior
consent from their advisor to help people complete a Master’s degree with
the thesis option
- Department is considering offering long-term GTAs to encourage high quality PhD candidates to apply
- The Graduate Council will be hosting a themed end of
the year party
- The number of TAs has decreased for the last few
years
- Students are not to happy with the proposed desks for
the move to the CRC
